Knowing what to expect after your MOXI™ laser treatment can make the experience feel much more comfortable. While the healing process is typically gentle, your skin will go through a few normal stages as it renews itself.
Right after your appointment, your skin may look pink or slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. You might notice warmth, tightness, or mild swelling. These effects are temporary and usually settle within the first day or two.
Most clients return to their regular activities the same day, with the exception of avoiding sun exposure and following simple aftercare instructions.
Over the next few days, your skin may feel dry or textured. Small darkened spots called MENDs can appear. These tiny dots are part of the normal renewal process and indicate that treated cells are being replaced.
Light flaking may occur as the skin sheds naturally. Mild swelling, if present, typically resolves within two to four days.
